Okay, all you slow going low down procrastinators, here's the skinny on late registration. Unlike many other clubs we will not be charging any additional fee for late registration for this event. However, The number of trophies available for the car show may depend on the number of advance registrations. Also this may affect the amount of snacks and drinks available in the various club hospitality suites for the Natter 'n' Noggin, and possibly the number of seats available for the Awards Banquet.

Even more serious, the number of hotel rooms in the area is limited. We have reserved a block of rooms at Best Western Prairie Inn, Galesburg (possibly the entire hotel), and are reviewing other available nearby hotels. If we have a good idea early enough that a larger number of people are coming than we expected, then we may be able to block up some additional rooms at other nearby hotels. If we do not know you are coming we cannot assist with your lodging accomodations. If you do not make arrangements with Best Western early enough they may be totally booked up, and you will have to look elsewhere for a room. As such, we encourage you to register early for the show, and to make your room reservations early.

For those of you who think early enough is "sometime in September", you may be in for some small disappointment. If your registration is not received at least 10 days before the event we may not be able to mail back your registration packet before you leave home for this event. If your registration is not received at least 5 days before the event it may not make it through the paper mill in time, and you may find yourself trying to register again when you get there. If you still find yourself bound to be making decisions at the very last moment, you might at least e-mail us to say you can (or cannot) make it, so we can leave the light on for you (so to speak). There may soon be additional information posted here on more exact registration deadline dates and more hotel information.
