A Bit of News

Since I do not care for spam myself, I am reluctant to expose you to it as well. Therefore, I was not entirely happy with the idea of posting your email address on our website. After discussing this issue at length with the webmaster, I have decided to try something a little different. I am now using our server's capability for creating email forwarders. I create a forwarder for your ad so that the email posted will be firstname.lastname@chicagolandmgclub.com. Any email sent to this address will be automatically forwarded to you by our server. The real beauty is that, after your ad expires, the forwarder also gets killed and any spam that was going to that address no longer knows where to go.

Member 1974 MG Midget
Red with black interior. Rebuilt front and rear suspensions, new clutch, starter, carpet, conv. top and much more. Floors are solid with no rust. Car has been repainted @ 6 yrs ago. Has couple of small spots where paint is bubbling. Drivers seat has a tear in the seat bottom. Strong running 1275cc engine. This is a very presentable car with shiny paint. I will sell this car before winter.

Member Do-It-Youself MGA
MGA Restoration project. What I have is about 2 1/2 MGA's. I will be building an MGA this winter. I have a perfect frame and a complete car. I'll be taking the suspension parts from the parts car and putting them on my frame. So, what I have for sale will be a complete MGA body shell, an extra frame, and the driveline.
I'm looking for $1500 for the remaining parts, but will need someone willing to work with me in getting the parts. I'm willing to deliver as parts become available.

Spridget Hard Top and Wheels
I have 4 steel wheels, one oddball, three matching for free. Come and pick up in Zionsville IN.
I also have a hardtop that came with my car when I purchased it. I chose not to fit it to the finished car and now would like to sell it. It was on a 69 Spridget, I am assuming it will fit Mk4 sprite and Mk3 Midgets. It may also fit others, but I make no assurances of this. Good shape, needs new seals and cleaning up. Small crack on inside skin, not on outside.

1961 MGA Mark II Roadster
Old English White with Tan leather interior, new Tan top with matching color tonneau cover, complete restoration, pictures available to show various stages of work, Body - new metal throughout – new left & right pillars & sills, floor board supports, new marine wood boards and hardware, rust removal / weatherproofed chassis, all exposed panels cleaned, primed and painted, body panels super smooth, with clear coat finish. new rubber components, Mechanical – total engine rebuild from block up (magnafluxed), new rings , seals, gaskets, springs, oil pump, etc, Fuel system - new fuel pump and line to engine, gas tank – removed, cleaned and sealed, rebuilt carburetors, rebuilt heater, etc. Professionally rebuilt transmission, four new shocks and rear rebound straps, new bumpers front and rear, new chrome fittings throughout. 1980 MGB
