Since 1997 the CMGC swap meet has been held on the last Sunday in February at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, Illinois. Both the content and the visitation has been increasing yearly. The most recent meet on February 25, 2001 had about 80 vendor spaces and 800 visitors. We outgrew the space in our original building and had to take over a second building in recent years.

The meet is intended for all marques of British cars and has been well attended by other local clubs and their members in the past. Other attendees have traveled from several neighboring states as well as outlying Illinois locations. All vendor spaces are inside, and refreshments are available during the day. This event requires more help from members than most of our other events, so volunteers are needed to help with set-up, clean-up, ticket taking, etc.

General Admission $3; Vendor Space (10’x10') $20; tables $3; chairs $.50; pre-registration recommended for vendors due to limited space. To get to the swap meet, start at Roosevelt Road (IL-38) and either IL-59 or IL-53. From IL-59 go east on IL-38, 2.9 miles to County Farm Road. Or from IL-53 go west on IL-38, 4.8 miles to County Farm Road. This intersection has a traffic light and McDonalds and Burger King restaraunts. Go north on County Farm Road 0.4 miles to the first traffic light. Turn east on Manchester Road and proceed 0.5 miles to the entrance.
