Publication Deadlines

Your editor would like to take this opportunity to change the official deadline for submissions for publication in Driveline. It seems that too many people have been abusing the deadline date and treating it as the only day to send anything, and it is not possible to assemble an entire newsletter overnight on the evening before it goes to print. Also if your last minuite message does not make it through the internet for any reason, it cannot possibly be included in a timely publication. This issue was delayed for 24 hours, and it is still missing a couple of pertinent items.

The new deadline for submissions will be the Saturday after the monthly club meeting. No more dragging your feet through the weekend and trying to post up something on Monday night. If you want it published, please send it in on time. If you don’t want to be doing it on the weekend, just get it done before the weekend. And I thank you for your consideration.
