The driving season has started! Meet me in the Shell parking lot in Crystal Lake on April 27th at 9:30am to follow Paul Urquhart to Lake Geneva. I wonder what surprises are in store for this year. May 4th is the Spring Chicken Rally. Wade Keene has planned a non-rigorous Time-Speed-Distance rally for us. We will be meeting at Campton Hills Park in St Charles at Noon. The park is about a mile west of the intersection of Randall Road and Route 64 (North Avenue).

May 25th is the Austin Healey Club Spring Gymkhana at the AMC Cantera in Warrenville near I-88 and Winfield Rd. This will NOT be a points event for us, but it will be an opportunity to try to grab some of their awards. Registration is at 8 with a mandatory drivers meeting at 8:30 followed by two hours of driving.
