Christmas Party: It is not too early to start planning. We are looking for a volunteer.
Budget Discussions: Last year we spent $816 more than we brought in. We are currently putting together a business plan for 2003. To save money, we are considering or have done a) Discontinuing award plaques for driving events, b) downsized our storage facility, c) discontinuing the Awards Banquet,. And d) combing the Jan and Feb newsletter. If you have any further suggestions contact Bill Hedrick or Bill Mennell.

NEW BUSINESS

Spring Tune Up Party will be April 13 at Quality Tire in Darien.
The Spring Tour will be April 27, hosted by Paul Urquart. It will leave from the Shell station at Rts 176 and 31 in Crystal Lake. It will be in the area of 100 miles.
Bodywork Tech Session will be April 5th at Kim Tonry’s. Welding will be the topic of the day.
Spring Chicken Rally will be on May 4th instigated by Wade Keene. It will start at 1:00 and last about 3 hours. It will be a time/speed and some gimmicks.
A Convention Hospitality Room will be hosted by the Club at the convention in St. Louis. It will be Saturday night after the banquet. Moss Motors will cosponsor the event. We do need volunteers.
We will be introducing “MG Bucks” to help improve attendance at rallies. The fee remains the same at $15, but every member (driver, not navigator) will receive Two Dollars in MG Bucks. During October and November, these can be redeemed toward purchase of regalia.
The Missouri Endurance Rally is coming up and the club is sending three teams to participate. There are currently 21 teams signed up.

The 50/50 raffle was won by Mike Hirsch ($26). Six Castrol hats were also given away, won by Dave Bralich, Dave Ransom, Jake Snyder, Howard Turk and Lis Gorr.

Respectufully submitted,
Mike Hirsch"
