The Spring Tour is coming up! We’ll meet west of Aurora off of Orchard Road and head south and west along some scenic roads along various rivers until we get to the Starved Rock area and have lunch at Duffy’s in Utica. I’ve found some nice twisty wooded country lanes to take us there and back to the Chicago area that will remind us of why we have MGs.

We will take off at 10:00 am, but there is an IHOP very near the start point so if you want to get some grub before we hit the road you can show up early. No rsvp's required, but I would appreciate it if you could let me know you're coming so I can let Duffy's know how many to expect.

Directions to the start point: Take I-88 west and get off at Orchard Road; go south (left) on Orchard Road and then take the first right after passing the Hampton Inn and Suites (Bushwood Dr.); follow Bushwood until you get to the “T” intersection and then take a right onto Indian Trail; go down the street to the church; we’ll meet at the Resurrection Evang. Lutheran Church parking lot (Corner of Indian Trail and Deerpath Rd). If you want to fuel up before we take off, there is a 7-11/Citgo just a half block down Orchard, at the corner.

After the Spring Tour, people are welcome to come by Glynis and Wade's for some beverages (and possibly food if we're hungry). We live at 1524 Linden Road in Homewood, at the corner of I-57 and the Tri-State in the grand scheme of things, and pretty much on the way home for most from the Tour. A mapquest/yahoo maps/whatever internet map will show you right where we are. Directions will be handed out at the Tour also.
