MG Emissions Tuning Day
May 22, 2004 - Streamwood, IL

Testing tailpipe emissions on an MGB Cowboy’s circle was getting busy as usual, triple parking cars a dozen at a time. The new CO meter is easier to use than the digital green box. You can watch this one creep up or down with minor adjustments of the fuel mixture or ignition timing. We did well again with 6 out of 7 cars passing the official air test on the first try after minor tweaking.

Testing tailpipe emissions on an MGB Wade Keene’s MGB got some tinkering time with the carburetors. Apparently the aftermarket fuel pump we hung on it at the autocross the week before was doing okay. After the tinkering his car passed the test on the first try without even using the e-meter for tuning.
