For the late model MG Midget with the TR Spitfire 1500 engine, this was considerable work prying it out and shoehorning it back in, but otherwise a normal R&R job. There was nothing else on the venue to sidetrack us this time, so it was all finished in one day. Interesting to check out the broken gears in the old unit.
