Halloween Rally
October 30, 2004 - 4:30 P.M.
Starting at: 4550 W. Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois
Halfway between Manheim & Wolf
Look for "Sheet Metal Workers Local 73" (big sign)
Assemble before dark, and the time change
(which starts at 2:00 a.m. that night by the way).
Get here by 4:30 so the first car is off and rolling at 5:00.
$15 Entry Fee, Trophies, Driver & Navigator points, and MG Bucks!
This year’s event will be a poker rally through the western suburbs. Not too far for folks from the northern or southern ‘burbs, and very convenient for your rallymasters (Don Anderson and Wade Keene). We’ll start in the late afternoon on Saturday, October 30, and run until after dark. This will make up for the missing Lucas night rally we hope.
I would like a call for help too. If you live in the western suburbs in proximity to the towns of LaGrange, Brookfield, Hinsdale, Westchester, Western Springs, Westmont, Clarendon Hills, Oak Brook, Oak Park, Oak Forest, Forest Park, Park Forest, Forest Brook, Brook Park, Oak Hills, or any town with a forest, a park, or an oak tree around; you can help. I hope you will. Just tell us where the neato Halloween lawn decorations are up to one week before the rally. All we want to do is drive by them and go Ooooh! This is a scenic rally. And those are the scenes. Get it? Of course ya gotta be in costume too. Let me and/or Wade know by email prior to Oct 15. That's plenty of time.
The rally will finish at an area restaurant for dinner and showing your hands.
