What did I volunteer for this time! I approached Jim Evans to assist with this year’s Swap Meet. Jim accepted and assigned me a few jobs to ‘get me started’. Do you have any idea how long it takes to address label and stamp 2,600 postcards? Even at three cards a minute and no breaks, well, you can do the math. Let’s say I have a sincere appreciation for all the work that goes into having a successful Swap Meet. We still could use some more help on event day – contact Jim or myself to offer your assistance.

This month’s issue focuses on the upcoming Driving Events – get ready, it is almost here.
First get an insight to the January’s Amtrak Trip to Detroit Auto Show with Jake and Ann Snyder. We also get a primer of the many activities planned for this year. It is not too early to start planning your calendar.

It all starts in February with the Annual Swap Meet. See you there!
