Library Muse
books
As you have probably already know I will not be bringing the full library to the monthly meetings. I will have recent additions and requests. If you would like something, just let me know via Email a day or two before the meeting and I'll have it for you. Barney has the inventory on the club's web site.

If you have any materials currently out that you have had for awhile, please try to get them back. Some things have been out for over a year. And I am again soliciting suggestions for new materials, unless you are content with my choices of past and present F1 books.

Speaking of F1, you may have heard that in the next year or two the engine specs will be calling for 1.6 liter 4 cylinder turbos, moving down from the current 8 cylinders. That means that our MG engines will have more displacement than the gran prix cars. Jim Rencar has a green MGB. I was thinking that we could meet at his house this summer and do a few alterations on his car. Cut off the fenders to make it open-wheel, destroke the engine to get it down to 1.6 liters, add a couple of turbochargers, tweak the suspension a little and we should be able to sneak in with the green Lotus cars. We will just have to drive it backwards to make it rear engine, Bernie will be too busy counting his money to notice. We can definably score as many points as Lotus did this year. This will work! See you at Jim's.
