Spring Tune Up Party

 Get your MG out of hibernation, cleaned up, tuned up, change the oil, and get back on the road for the new driving season. Join us for our annual Spring Tune-Up Party for oil changes, lube jobs, light work and tuning, etc. Use the lifts. Bring your own oil and filters and any other fluids and tools.
Please sign in when you arrive. First come, first served. Club members and MG’s have priority. Guests and other cars may be scheduled if time allows. While you are there, please say hello and thanks to Mark Leuck for the use of his facilities. This is Mark’s 27th year of hosting this event!!!
Also, plan on joining us for a post Tune-up party at a Roundhead (2001 63rd St, Downers Grove).
Quality Tire is located on the East side of Rt-83, Northbound, just north of Willowbrook Ford, next to Dunkin Donuts in Willowbrook.

Spring Chicken Run

Due to a conflict, Bill Reese could not host the annual spring chicken run this year. To keep the event going, I volunteered to host the event this year.
I am still putting the final touches on the drive, but to let you know, the event is being held on Sunday, May 20, and we will be starting from the Deer Park Town Center Shopping Mall Located on the northwest corner of Route 12 and Deer Park Blvd. There is a Starbucks in the mall and we will be meeting at 9:30am in the lot just by the coffee shop.
For those who choose to just show up at my house, which is fine, plan to be there about noon. I need to have a count of those planning to attend so that I can plan for the food and drink appropriately. The cost will be the same as last year, $7 per per-son to cover expenses for food and drink. If there are any special needs just let me know.
