With only four Driving Events to go in 2014, it is a good time to note interim scores are for the overall Club Champions (all events) and Rally Champions (scored rallies).

3rd with 18 points: Jim and Lois Evans
4th - 7th with tied 17 points: Bill Kalafut and Jean Heasley, Bob Lee, Ric and Nancy Maitzen, Phil and Sandy Wydra
8th with 16 points: Russ and Amy Mehaffey
9th with 13 points: Jim Compton
10th - 12th tied with 12 points: Mike and Mary Kay Cobb, Bill and Scotty Cole, John and Ann Schroeder 

Rally Champions
1st with 14 points: Russ and Amy Mehaffey
2nd with 13 points: Jim and Lois Evans
3rd with 12 points: Phil and Sandy Wydra
4th with 11 points: Ric and Nancy Maitzen
5th - 9th with 9 points: Dino and Lisa Perez, Rich Meservey and Sundy Mead, Jim Compton, John and Ann Schroeder, Gary Maves and Nathan Dupee
10th -11th tied with 8 points: Bill Kalafut and Jean Heasley, Steve and Beth Gore

The points of the Wine, Cheese, and Beer Tour are not yet included and there are still two 3-point rallies and two 1-point ‘other events’ on the calendar. For the rallies, the Top 3 finishers get 3, 2, and 1 extra points and all organizers also get a bonus point. That means that even after 19 events, the championships are still wide open. With these point opportunities it is even possible for a team outside the Top 10 right now, to become first! All you have to do to give it a try is to: start your MG engine, come out, and participate. Or, if you only want to see how the championships unfold, in person, all you have to do is (guess what?): start your MG engine, come out, and participate. I hope to see you out there.
