The Steering Column by Maynard Hirsh, Club President You can tell I'm an MG nut. While others dream of sugarplums, I dream of superchargers. While others roast chestnuts over an open fire, I use a torch to loosen rusty bolts. While my kids worry that Santa will leave sooty footprints in the house, I hope he doesn't track oily footprints in from the garage. Others may deck the halls with boughs of holly, I lovingly wax my car for the winter. Children may be snuggled in their beds, my B is tucked away under a cover in the garage. Santa makes a list and checks it twice, I make a wish list of parts from Moss Motors. Some fathers spend Christmas Eve assembling toys for their children, I spend it planning winter projects for my 67B. May the best of the season be there for you and yours.
