This center console, armrest, storage box will be a matter of personal taste. In the MGA it requires that you throw out the original leather-top, vinyl-sided padded armrest. The body of this unit is grained molded ABS thermoplastic, black only at this time. The top cover is black leather covered. Personally it rubs me the wrong way to have plastic parts anywhere on the MGA, but a little extra storage space may be useful. For sure the cup holder is not very secure, and a cup would be square in the way of the shifter.
