The MGA With An Attitude
WIPERS, TWO SPEED DR3 With Toggle Switch -- ET-219F
79SA three position toggle switch for two-speed wiper upgrade.
The 79SA toggle-style wiper switch of the Jaguar XK140/150 has the same connection logic as the rotary switch of the Jaguar Mk2. There must be other applications for this switch, but I haven't tracked them down yet. The connection diagram is shown below. Having a wound field coil (not permanent magnet), the direction of rotation of the armature does not change with system polarity change.
There is a similar DR1 motor with one less wire, where power goes to the switch first before the motor.

NOTICE: "Rotary Switch Terminals" refers to the 13-terminal rotary switch used in Jaguar MK2. "Toggle Switch" refers to the 79SA switch used in Jaguar XK140, XK150. These cars use the 75361A wiper motor with the reverse to park function. These are NOT the same as terminal numbers on the PRS5 switch on preceding page.
