Urethane BUSHINGS for Leaf Spring Shackles, do not fit - FT-119
Upgrade Replacement for original rubber bushings
In early May 2006, Greg M in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia reported on new AHH5018K Shackles( kit), to mate with new Polyurethane (Nolathane) bushes. Faulty shackles are covered on the prior page. This page is only concerning faulty replacement urethane bushings.

Despite clearing the eyes , really tough to get in. Bushes were hanging out by 1/4" to 3/16".
On June 3,2026, Greg had another report:
The situation has been exacerbated by the polyurethane bushes. The set of Nolathane Poly bushes that I was using certainly stressed the aftermarket shackles. The first set I used had 2x domed end bushes and 2x flat end bushes per side. Looking at them internally after removal, there was damage inside the bore from the pins. Measuring the ID of those (which I should have done when I received them), the flat ended bushes had an ID of 12.52mm and could slide onto the shackle pin with silicone grease. The domed ended bushes has an ID of just 11.67mm (never going to fit).
I contacted Nolathane and they sent me replacements for part number 47075. These had domed ends for all bushes in the pack. -- Measuring them, they came in at 12.025mm on average to fit the 12.7mm pin. Test fit - didn't work let alone with the OD being compressed by the spring eye etc. More wasted time. -- The Nolathane published spec is 12.8mm and this was confirmed by their Customer Support. -- I reported this back to Nolathane... turns out that all their inventory is out of spec. (No refund or credit offered as yet). -- The company is owned by Zeder Corporation that also owns Whiteline. I was informed that the Whiteline product in stock was also the same. -- Nolathane has a 100% fitment guarantee. -- In this case I was advised that there was nothing they could do as they had no compliant stock in inventory . I'd wasted countless hours trying to get Poly bushes to fit.
So, I contacted MGSales in South Australia. They had SuperPro bushes in stock (via Moss UK). At my request, they opened the pack and measure the ID that came out at 12.6mm - a much better chance of fitting. Very happy with the effort of MGSales! -- On arrival I verified the ID and fitted both sides. Snug but fitted.
The concerning thing is that SuperPro seems to operate from the same address as RedRanger that owns Nolathane and Whiteline. AI (if you can believe it) tells me that its a coincidental 3PL arrangement.
Furthermore the Nolathane, Whiteline and SuperPro products all have the same part numbers and die lot numbers. AI tells me that this is because they outsource to the same molding company/tooling - again a coincidence? -- Either way, beware of at least the Nolathane product that is out in the market is Out of Spec.
I'm fortunate to have found some what might be 'old stock' from SuperPro that has traveled from Queensland in Australia, to Moss in the UK to a caring distributor in South Australia to Victoria, Australia. The part number is 47075 from all suppliers. Best be aware.
