But the interior is entirely non-standard. It's a contrast of dark blue and light blue , as you can see the seats are original mga style with headrest added and an mga patterned set style.. -- Kenneth Clay
From David Breneman:
"My car is Glacier Blue with Blue and Gray seats. (The Mk II grille is a relic of the 1960s). My car originally had an Ice Blue top, but I was unable to find any material in that color except on custom order in wholesale quantities ($$$). I included the original Ice Blue tonneau. The color is sort of a pale robins-egg blue, but it photographs terribly".

You mention that you would like to see a picture of an original ice blue hood. So would I! However, Bob West has had some vinyl paint made up to match the original and I have attached a picture. I have seen a sample and it matches the remnants of my original very well. The second picture shows the Bob West sample overlayed on a NOS sidescreen.
It's interesting to note that there are some tonneau covers with a more blue/grey colour being represented as ice blue but these are not correct. The original ice blue has a mixture of blue and green that would make it blend with the paint colours of the day (Tyrolite Green and Glacier Blue).

Many coats of paint were applied to my 57 on top of the original Tyrolite Green. The original green color was still on the inside of the tail light plinths. I took the plinths to our local Dupont paint jobber and they used their "computer" to match the color. The paint can info is: Dupont Chroma One Single Stage Urethane.
