"I decided to make my own. I found a section of square tubing. Cut it diagonally, and bent it on the vise to change the angle from 90* to 135* (Octagon).
Now, cut it into 4 pieces (~2" long each). Quick test fit.
Clamped to the nut. Tack welded. Finished welding, filed edges smooth and de-burred.
Now I will find a scrap socket with 1/2" drive and weld it to the other end".
End of story"? Nice job, but that last piece doesn't look like a scrap socket. Looks to me like the center of a grinding disc for an angle grinder.
