Christmas Party
By Winn Gould, VMGCC President
The annual Christmas Dinner, held in conjunction with the Chicagoland MG Club December 6th, was a rousing success. Approximately 80 MG enthusiasts and spouses braved marginal weather (though to our knowledge none arrived in MG’s) to gather at Elmcrest Banquets to celebrate the coming holidays. The world famous Abingdon players (including our own Rey Navarro) and the Singing Magnettes entertained us with a musical tribute to overcoming the curse of Lucas. Just about everyone left with a gift thanks to donations by the clubs and sponsors, and all enjoyed this opportunity to mingle with other MG enthusiasts and celebrate the Christmas season.
