You all thought you heard the last from me. I’m still here and back as the Tech (Tex) Coordinator. Don’t look for regular newsletter articles. But rather, look at our Web pages or the back of the Driveline for any new upcoming Tex sessions. In addition to having monthly garage Tex sessions, I will be scheduling brief, after the monthly meetings, mini-tex sessions. After the January Membership meeting the Mini-Tex session was on the engine rocker assembly. This month will be on the clutch hydraulics and for the month of April (in time for the Spring Tune-up) a discussion on Oil filters.

Now on to the Monthly Garage Tex sessions. I will be working with all of you to help set up a monthly Garage Tex session. Last Month, (February) Dave Novak used the clubs King Pin reamer and rebuilt two King Pins. He has also donated the reamer to refit the lower pin bushing. This month on Friday March 21 from 10:30am till 4:00 and again Saturday March 22 from 9:30 – 2:00 we will be doing engine rebuild and replacement at my garage. I understand that this is Easter Weekend but, this is one of the few times I have available. Next month in April will be our annual Spring Tune-up. But unlike years in the past we will not be meeting on a Sunday morning. The location of our tune-up has remained the same but now the shop is open on Sundays. We have been offered (and accepted) to come by on Saturday late afternoon 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Stay tuned for further updates.
