St. George’s Gymkhana
April 24, 2005 - Warrenville, IL
The weather for the St. George’s Gymkhana (so named because the 23rd was St’ George’s Day) was not good, but better than I expected. We had five of us driving from the CMGC and three guests, including 2 MINIs. There was also a good number of people that came to help out, to say hello, and snap a few pictures. It was good to see everybody. No cars hurt, no egos bruised, and a good time was had by all. The results are:
First place - MG class - Wilbur Mennell
Second place - MG class - Dave Bralich
Third place - MG class - Wade Keene
Our next Autocross is on June 26, but the Healey club is hosting one at the Cantera theatre lot on June 5. Let’s all go and show them how a real sports car is driven.
