The Steering Column
Que pasa, fellow MG’ers. Has it been a busy season so far? With the 4th of July behind us it appears that summer is half over. Some of you have been very busy to date. What with tech sessions, tune-up parties, rallies, partying at the Champagne British Car Fest and the drive to Cleveland, you must be getting pretty tired by now. You need to take a deep breath and relax for a moment. This will help you get ready for the 2nd half of the MG year.
For those of you who have not been able to join the MG fun, it is not too late. Some of the best is yet to come. You can still catch up on the good times the rest of us have been having. Read the event schedule in your latest Driveline. You will note that in August, September and October there is still much to look forward to.
CMGC will be hosting it’s first ever Summer Party. Kudos to the committee people who have been working on this project all year long. Let’s all pitch in and help make this event a great success.
After that is a ride with the Prince of Darkness, better known as the Lucas Night Rally. This year the Rallymaster is Susie Tucker, way to go girl! And of course, our year would not be complete without the Land’s End Rally.
And that is not all. Follow the event schedule in the Driveline and you will see that there is always something to do even through November and December. Check out the website and you will see many photos of club members having fun at the various events. Come join us and get in the picture.
