Fall Color Tour
October 12, 2003
Mike Olsen - Tourmaster
Sunny open rural roads, wonderful fall colors and warm weather.
To Larry Daniels:
Sorry you got lost on the first turn. We did manage to recover the other cars that went that direction. Hope you had a good time in Wisconsin. Everyone has been inquiring if you have discovered a nice set of roads up there for another tour? You know it was a dandy day for top down touring in the fall colors. Most of the 20 or so MGs managed to cram in together for a group photo in the Lowden-Miller State Forest (see cover photo) just before the lunch break. After lunch they sort of broke up and drifted independently to the four winds with hardly ever more than two cars together. Most of them skipped the John Deere Museum tour, which was near the end of the attractions. The return route was more sunny rural cruising with no stops.

Just one marvelous view of the Rock River along the way.
