MG Midget Revival
November 6, 2004 - Westmont, IL
It was not hard to get this car running and out the door, but it didn’t want to idle after a warm up drive. Being a late model Midget, having a lot of the emissions equipment removed probably has a lot to do with it. The fuel metering needle was stuck and needed attention to get the mixture adjustment working, but that didn’t cure the problem either. Engine runing is like a step function, where a very small reduction of idle speed will cause it to suddenly die. This one will need some more attention. Any ideas would be appreciated.
