day drop in price for a few weeks now. $2.50 on 12/15, $2.45 on 12/18, $2.36 on 12/20, $2.33 on 12/22. Dec 18 we did Tour Of The Lights with Classic MG Club (in Orlando) with dinner after at Tibby's New Orleans Kitchen. Next day we spent some time with a few of the club members discussing car clubs and tech sessions, installation of dual carbs on a late model MGB, and picking up a friend's restored MG TF. We also got to visit Southeast Performance in Winter Park, FL, where there will always be a wide assortment of hot collectible cars available.
On Saturday 12/20 I had an interview and photo shoot in Orlando with John Webber, an independent writer who intends to do a short article about me (us) and this road trip for Classic Motorsports magazine. Give it a few months to see what might pop up in print.
Dec 21-22 we were visiting Rafael Puga in Miami who has a nice MGA that was in need of an electrical fix. He also has a Tesla Model S-85 (5 passenger sedan), one of those new electric cars that can do 0 to 60-mph in 3.2 seconds and go up to 265 miles on a charge. Large and luxurious, not at all what
you might expect of an electric vehicle.
On 12/23 we are sitting in Key West wishing all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Cheers to all.
