Camp with the Chicagoland MG Club at Plymouth Rock Campground, Elkhart Lake Wisconsin for ‘The Hawk’, the new name this year for the old Chicago Historic Races.

Plan on camping Friday and Saturday, July 13 and 14, 2012. Phone 920-892-4252 for reservations – they are under ‘Jake Snyder’ this year to accommodate the registration software. We are staying in the Purple Circle. The rates are approximately $47 per night with running water and electricity. Bring your tent in your MG.

There a many things to do besides going to the race track across the street, from farmers’ markets to historical sites. Plymouth Rock Campground is very luxurious with bath houses and two heated swimming pools. There is even a restaurant if eating hamburgers from the ashes is not to your taste.

We have four couples committed to the trip. We would like to invite you to join us. We are still working on the details of the trip, but initial plans are to leave in early June.

These MG gatherings are great opportunities to meet people with similar interests from all over the US. We have also enjoyed meeting MG owners from Europe and Canada and always have a lot of fun on these trips. Hope you can join us!
