Rally Trip 2011
It is hard to believe it has been five years, but it is time again for the MG all register meet. Five years ago we went to Gatlinburg, TN. This year the destination is Reno, Nevada and Lake Tahoe, CA. This is the largest gathering of MG’s in the US. There were 1300 cars in 2006. You will not see a greater collection of MGs.

We are planning to caravan from Chicago to Reno. We are still working on the route and timing, but we should be finalizing our plans soon. We will probably travel interstates most of the way. If you want to travel mostly non-interstate roads, there is a Rally to Reno via US 50. This group plans to travel coast to coast to Reno and beyond. You can meet this group in St Louis, under the Gateway Arch on June 6.

Diana Gonzales has researched the hotels and registration and provided the following information. You will need to register for the event before you can register for one of the hotels. There is a link on the Chicagoland MG Club’s website. We would prefer all of our members to stay at the same hotel, but we can not reserve a block of rooms in advance. Once you register for the event you will be able to book your room. Diana recommends the Silver Legacy Resort as our first choice. More information to come!

Club name tags with pin-back can be printed with up to 3 lines of type. Print how you would like badge to read and send with a check for $5.00 ($7.50 if you would like to have the badge sent to your home address) to PO Box 455 Addison, IL 60101. Delivery may be several weeks since we must accumulate eight badges before submitting an order. You will be notified that the badges are ready for pickup at a club meeting or event.
