The Swap Meet is organized and conducted by our club alone although it has the enthusiastic support of all the other British Car clubs in Chicago. This year our 13,200 sq ft facility had 74 vendors occupying 103 spaces displaying their wares. Over 700 shoppers participated. Since it’s beginning, this event has proven popular with British car enthusiasts from throughout the Midwest. Buyers and sellers alike travel in from a multi-state area in search of parts, services, regalia and memorabilia items.
Thanks also to Dave Bralich, Barney Gaylord and Scott Kiederlen for transporting the inventory of club parts to the Swap Meet and staffing the sales booth. And a special thanks to all our club volunteers that helped in setup, ticket sales, manning the CMGC booths and assisting with cleanup. We could not have had a successful event without you.
