NAMGAR Regional Event
Cruise to the Capital
July 4-14, 2014
Organized by Canadian Classic MG Club
Vancouver, BC Canada
Join the "Cruise to the Capital" (C2C), a NAMGAR Regional event, in association with GT-39 in Ottawa, Canada. The drive starts in Victoria, British Columbia on July 4th, 2014 and travels thru BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Southwest Ontario to the capital of Canada – Ottawa - arriving on July 14th, 2014 - just in time for the GT (note that the dates and route are still subject to confirmation).
The Canadian Classic MG Club would like to invite Chicagoland MG Club members to join us on route. We will be passing through northern Michigan on July 11th, driving from Duluth, MN to Ishpeming, MI. You can join the drive at any point along the route.
Total mileage is estimated at 2,953 miles over 10 days. Drive at your own pace and meet at pre-determined overnight stops. The organizers will be researching costs for trucking your vehicle from the east coast to Victoria or Vancouver. If you're interested in either attending the event or trucking your vehicle, please contact the organizers and your name will be added to an email list.
Additional information and updates for C2C and GT-39 will be posted on the NAMGAR website as they become available - please check the website regularly for the latest information.

NAMGAR GT-39
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
July 14 - 18, 2014
Since its inception, NAMGAR has had an annual Get-Together. These GT's are organized by NAMGAR's Chapter Clubs, and move about all over the US and Canada, i.e. from east to west, and from north to south. This year the event will be held in Ottawa, Ontario, from July 14 - 18, 2014
Registration for GT-39 opened mid-January and the registrations, both online and by mail, started to come in almost immediately. Based on early results, there seems to be plenty of interest in Ottawa and GT-39 should be quite well attended. Many of you, who are planning to come to Ottawa in July to join in all the fun, have not got around to registering yet.
We can all appreciate how much effort it takes to pull off a GT. Members of the Ottawa MG Club will be helping to run various activities during GT-39 and making sure that attendees are enjoying themselves during their visit to Ottawa.
If you've never attended a NAMGAR GT, learn more about what you are missing. If you're attending an up-coming GT, read about general policies, definitions, and competition classes.
To stay up to date on all the latest GT-39 information and to see what our mascot is up to, visit the GT-39 website (http://gt39.namgar.com/ ) regularly. Questions about Ottawa or GT-39 can be emailed to the host committee (gt39@namgar.com). Registration enquiries should be sent to the GT-39 Registration Chairman (gt39registration@namgar.com).
