Did you buy some parts or accessories at the Swap Meet last month and are waiting for the opportunity to install them? Weather too cold? Too rainy? Or perhaps it’s just time to get your MG into ship-shape and Bristol fashion for the driving season? Well now’s your chance to channel your inner Smokey Yunik. For the sixth straight year Don’s Auto Ade (Goodyear) will be hosting the CMGC tune-up party.

The format will be similar to years past. Starting at 12 Noon, six indoor service racks will be available to us for oil changes, repairs, underbody inspections, etc. Dave ‘Cowboy’ Bralic and other experienced members will be on hand to assist. There is an auto parts store nearby but I would suggest bringing your own 20w50 oil and filter. Sam from Don’s will be available to mount and balance tires and do wheel alignments for a reasonable fee. I’ll also be there to offer useless advice and smoke a cigar or two. Don’s can also set you up with new tires and batteries, but call ahead for brands and sizes. Not too many MG tires in stock.

After the work is done it’s off to Rock Bottom Brewery at 16:30 hrs. (4:30 PM for you civilians) for a natter noggin, bench racing and all-around BS’ing. You’re more than welcome to attend even if you didn’t make it to Don’s. Both location are just off the I88 E/W Tollway.
