Bob Hanselman an enthusiastic member of the Ford Model A Club and of both the Chicago MG Clubs is moving to California. He will have a tour to Brighton, WI with cars from all three clubs. Along the way, about 60 miles or so, there will be two stops at private car collections and the Ford-MG Battle will end with horseshoe and bean bag games at the lunch place in Brighton.

Tour starts at Panera Bread located in the Annex - southeast corner of Arlington Heights Road and Rand Road (Rt. 12). The first car out will be at 9:30 am. Come early for breakfast. We will have a buffet-style lunch around 12:00. Weather permitting, we will eat outdoors. Cost for lunch will be $12 (tax & gratuity included).

9:00 AM, Starting point, one block north (on 31) of the intersection of Rt. 64 and Rt. 31

Once again it is getting to be ‘chicken season’… We will kick off the driving season with the Spring Chicken Tour again this year. Jan and I are both really excited to be hosting again. We will have the same type of tour as we had last year.

The actual tour will be the route up to our place in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. This year I plan to have the route be similar to last season. It will be rustic and winding… The starting point this year will be in St. Charles. From the intersection of Rt. 64 and Rt. 31, go one block north on 31. There is a parking lot on the right side of the road that overlooks the Fox River. The tour will begin at 9:00 AM, which should get all the hungry drivers to Lake Geneva around 11:30.

If for some reason you are unable to make the tour we would still love to have you join us in Lake Geneva for lunch (even non-MG’s are welcome!!!). This season I think we are going with a chicken “Fiesta” theme for the menu!!!

Please join us if you can. I will need to have email responses from those that will be attending so I can plan the food amounts properly. In the past we have run this with a $7.00 per person cost to cover expenses; that will remain the same.
