20th Annual All British Car Swap Meet & Autojumble

 The 20th Annual All British Car Swap Meet & Autojumble was held on Sunday April 17, 2016 at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, IL from 8 AM to 2 PM.
The event included all marques of European sportscars and motorcycles providing a meeting place for buyers and sellers of used parts, new parts, accessory items, tools, memorabilia, and just about anything else of interest to the European sports car and motorcycle enthusiast.
The Swap Meet is organized and conducted by our club alone although it has the enthusiastic support of all the other British Car clubs in Chicago. This year our 13,200 sq ft facility had 58 vendors occupying 80 spaces displaying their wares. Over 550
shoppers participated. Since it’s beginning, this event has proven popular with British car enthusiasts from throughout the Midwest. Buyers and sellers alike travel in from a multi-state area in search of parts, services, regalia and memorabilia items.
New this year was a car corral to display cars for sale. Although we had interest from over 10 sellers, we were only able to book four spots for cars and only one car was on display. Ironically there were three cars for sale in the parking lot on trailers and flatbed trucks. We will need to fine-tune our method of offering this option for vendor sales in the following years
