The Land’s End Rally is the second oldest, continuing event on the club calendar. Initially configured to mimic the Land’s End Trial of England, it morphed over the years into a variety of forms as suited the times at hand. This year we are planning something a little different than the last few years; so plan on being there to take part in a fun day!

The date has been set for Sunday, June 29th rain-or-shine. Get ready for an old-fashioned, low-key rally laid out and conducted in the spirit and procedures of club rallymasters in years past.

We will be starting in the Western suburbs and going from there. We have determined the start point to be at the Southwest corner of Roselle and Golf Roads in Hoffman Estates. We will gather in the shopping center parking lot which is behind the Wendy's and Mobil gas station.

Drivers meeting at 9:30 AM prompt. We will take a clockwise tour of approximately 50 miles, ending at Nick's Pizza and Pub in Crystal Lake.

Garage tour
July 12, 2014

The Garage Tour is coming together for July 12th. We will be visiting Francen & Son in Algonquin. This was an original MG dealership and also one of our newsletter advertisers.

Then a short drive to Restorations Unlimited in Cary. This shop has some very rare and unique cars in various stages of rebuild.

Lastly, we will visit Vintage Sports Car, LLC in Woodstock. It is owned by Yves Boode, the gentleman that gave the club a presentation last year on the "Mille Migilia" race in Italy. Again, some nice vehicles in his shop.
