Land’s End Rally

 The Land’s End Rally was the very first rally of the Chicagoland MG Club (~1980). I was fortunate with my son as Navigator to win this event.
Please arrive at 9:00 am for the drivers meeting with the rally to start soon after. We will meet at Luau Coffee (40W301 Il Route 64 Wasco, IL 60175) and end at Rosie O’Hare’s Public House (702 Water Street, East Dundee IL) a few hours later for lunch.
This rally is fun and challenging. There will be turns, questions, pictures and fun. We will be taking a funny picture of you and your car to be entered in a photo contest. We will also take a beautiful scenic picture of you with your car as a keepsake of this event. Join us!

LOOK who can Autocross
The Zandvoort Circuit is where we joined the MG Car Club Holland in 1978 during their annual Day at the Track Event. Zandvoort is just West of Amsterdam on the North Sea and was home of F1 races until 1985.
I looked-up that memorable day in our 1978 album. Here is a photo from our MGC with number 101-102 on the door on the track with Henneke Vogt at the wheel.
