On Saturday June 17, James Brennan will again be our contact and host for the car show at
the Scottish Highland Games. Further to the car show, James will again provide a trivia/quiz contest
with club awards and points towards the overall club championships.
The CHICAGO SCOTS present the Midwest's Largest Scottish Event, the 31st Annual
Scottish Festival & Highland Games. Featuring an Extravaganza of activities & attractions - from the
Caber Toss to the Highland Dance to the Dogs of Scotland - this family-friendly event is a chance to
explore Scottish culture without buying a plane ticket..
Haggis Hurling Contest

Various contests including Haggis Eating, Haggis Hurling, Heavy Athletics (Caber Toss, Clachneart, Hammer Throw, Sheaf Toss & Weight Throws), Highland Dance, Piping & Drumming, Soccer and Rugby.
THE BRITISH CAR SHOW WILL TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY, JUNE 17, 2017 FROM 8:30 A.M. TO 6:00 P.M.
Eligible cars are those that were manufactured in the United
Kingdom including Northern Ireland regardless of age or condition. $20.00 registration fee per car and you receive two (2) Saturday Adult admission passes to the games. They want the cars there at a minimum between 10:00 am – noon when the balloting takes place (they can extend it), but you’re free to park it and move along and enjoy the games.

Cars are staged at Main Entrance so there is a lot of foot traffic. Judging is strictly based on votes by interested visitors so staging and presentation are key (smooshing helps too) if you want a chance at a trophy!!. It’s always a great time!
