MG Midgets and Austin-Healy Sprites from around the country will gather in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin to celebrate with food, driving events, and social time. Vintage Transport Extravaganza
Trains, and Automobiles
August 7th, 2011 – Start 10:00 AM
IL Route 14 & IL Route 176, Crystal Lake, IL

Starting in Crystal Lake, Illinois at 10:00 AM at the McDonalds on Hwy 14 and Hwy 176 intersection on the west side of Crystal Lake. This Rally will have stops along its route of the back roads of McHenry & Kane Counties.

Then onto Union, IL with the finish at Checker’s II Lounge & Restaurant for the Finish, This will be the ending point of the rally. If you wish to go to the Railroad Museum it is less than a mile away.

The rally will be relatively short and will be a “gimmick” rally with instructions and questions along the way to keep you on track to the location of the stops.

The rally route is designed to provide a fun experience, with scenic and very low traffic MG roads, taking you past open fields, horse pastures, some amazing homes, and lovely gardens and landscaping.

The starting point is again the parking lot of the Millrose Restaurant, 45 S. Barrington Rd, which is just north of the I-90 Barrington Rd exit. The restaurant had a nice Breakfast Buffet that opens at 10:00 am.

The rally end point is within 45 miles of the start and the rally length is less than 95 miles. Your rally car is an MG T Series or other MG, any vintage sports car or anything else you have running and the Rally fee is $5.
