EDITOR’S CORNER

So far the CMGC driving events schedule is as ’hot’ as the June temperatures have been. But that hasn’t stopped our members from enjoying their cars. I guess the heat affected more than the passengers this Jo Daviess tour—my car again had engine starting problems during the last few hours of the tour. Penny and Roger Goebbert provided the muscle to push-start. I guess I’ll have to track down the electrical problem in greater detail before the Lake Shore Tour this weekend.

There is something magical about driving top-down on country roads—no traffic and only the hum of the engine and changing of pitch as you shift gears. CMGC Driving Season is upon us… get out and drive!!
