Monthly Meeting Minutes

30 Members in attendance
CMGC President Ray Hansen opened the meeting at 8:01 pm. Ray recognized new member Adam Schuth from Wheaton IL. Adam owns a 1972 British Racing Green MGB. Adam was accompanied by his dad–Brian–who owned a MG several years ago.
Car Projects
Ralph Arata was assisting his brother replacing the brake line in his 1964 TR4.
Doug Clark replaced the master cylinder slave unit on his MGC.
Steve ‘Sparky’ Sparks is working on a starter problem. Additionally, the car is still missing and backfires on occasion.
Dino Perez had to replace the alternator in his RV8 with the only option that would fit – made for a Jaguar.
Phil Wydra is currently working on his brake master cylinder.

Doug Clark noted that the Summer Solstice will occur at 8:31pm on June 21st. He proposed that club members should assemble at one of two locations to commemorate the occasion by eating ice cream. Doug Clark to host the event at Highland Queen Drive-In in LaGrange while Reinout Vogt to host in Mount Prospect at Capannari Ice Cream.
Break/ 50:50 raffle – CMGC members – Bill Kalafut -- was the winner of $55; Mike Hirsch was the winner of a scale model of a 1967 MGB roadster; John Kearns took home a genuine faux leather portfolio embossed with the CMGC logo.

Treasurer Report - Phil Wydra – The month ended with $7,121 in checking, $19,236 in savings for a total of $26,357.
With no new business to discuss, president Ray Hansen closed the meeting at 9:10 pm.
