Mark your calendar for the 11th annual WCB Tour! With help from Ralph Arata (and Susan), we are planning the WCB Tour to be held September 18-19-20 this year. Ann and John Schroeder have done such an excellent job in the past that we can only hope to come close meeting their example. We begin Friday evening (Sept 18) in Rockford for dinner at JMK Nippon restaurant. As you may know the preparation ‘show’ is second only to the food and camaraderie. Socializing will continue at the hotel parking lot.

Saturday (Sept 19) we will embark on a leisurely cruise on the scenic roads of southeastern Wisconsin. Opportunities for lunch and shopping (aka leg-stretching) will also be coordinated along the way. The day will end in Whitewater with another dinner and parking lot party. Sunday, we will have some more driving and conclude in southern Wisconsin around noon.

RESERVATIONS:
Friday- Sept 18: We are staying at the Quality Suites on Walton Street in Rockford. We have reserved a block of rooms ($85 +tax) under the group "Chicago MG Club". Phone is 815-227-1300. Please make reservations before August 18. This is the same hotel as in prior years, and they are undergoing a change of ownership. By the time the Tour comes around they will likely be known as LaQuinta.

Saturday- Sept 19: we are planning to stay in Whitewater, WI. Due to other bookings, we cannot get a reserved block but you need to make reservations ASAP. Both of the following will offer a 5% discount when you mention "Chicagoland MG Club". Regular rates are $109 and $119 +tax, respectively. First preference is Super 8 since this has more rooms available and is closer to our dinner location. We are told this is a very nice accommodation. First choice: Super 8 Motel phone - 262-472-0400

Second choice - Baymont Inn 262-472-9400. This was formerly Amerihost when the last WCB went through town and is located about 2 1/2 miles from Super 8. There are fewer rooms at Baymont as they have a wedding group staying there. Be guided accordingly.
