On Sunday August 6th we are looking for a few volunteers with their cars to be available for showing and maybe driving around the parking lot with a pediatric cancer patient from Advocate Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge . This a wonderful wat to give back to the community and share the joy of the kids riding in our vintage cars.

Westmont Street Fair

 The Chicagoland MG Club will be featured at the Westmont Street Fair on August 10th from 5 - 9 pm. This is not your typical Cruising Night. Westmont has expanded it into a weekly Street Fair featuring children's activities, live music, food, drinks, special events and a great deal of fun. Cass Ave. from the tracks north to Chicago Ave. will be closed and blocked off for this event. The event has doubled in size this year. Last year over 20 members joined us for the fun and we are looking forward to many more this year.
Cars can arrive between 4:30 - 5 pm. Dinner and other activities will be planned for a fun evening. (more details to follow)

Tally Ho Rally

The Rally starting point is the parking lot of the Lucky Monk Restaurant, 105 Hollywood Blvd, South Barrington, IL, which is just north of the I-90 Barrington Road exit. When going northbound on Barrington Road, turn left onto Studio Drive (first traffic light north of I-90), then left onto Hollywood with the restaurant in view.
The rally route is designed to provide a fun experience, with scenic and low traffic MG roads, taking you past open fields, horse pastures, amazing homes, and lovely gardens and landscaping.
The Rally end-point is the Lucky Monk Restaurant and the rally length is less than 65 miles. Your rally car is an MG or any other car you have running. Equipment needed is a car, pencil, watch, and navigator.
Registration is at 11:00 am, drivers meeting at 11:30 am, and the first car will be starting at 12:00 noon.
