Volo Auto Museum

Hello Folks. Save the date September 28th. Bob and I will be hosting out tour to the Volo Car Museum.

Two great enterprises, one great location. The Museum, over 33 Unique Exhibits the entire family will enjoy. Auto Sales, choose from over 300 of the best collector cars.
Something for EVERYONE! Collector cars, movie cars, famous cars! Never had seen antique campers before. Planes, train, boats! The military museum was awesome in it's completeness. NOT JUST A GUY PLACE!!!!!

We’ll be starting out at the Starbucks in South Elgin, where we started the Railway tours. 9:30 am drivers meeting with cars out by 10am. We expect the ride to take us a little over an hour to get to the museum. Once there we can check out all of the exhibits and get something to eat. Bob and I are still working out details.

We should know more by the next club meeting and we’ll update you in the email blasts and next month’s driveline.

Triad Fall Car Care Safety Clinic for Seniors October 12, 2019 — 8 a.m. to 12 noon It’s hard to believe that summer flew by so quickly. On Saturday, October 12th, we will be performing our pre-winter vehicle checks for our senior drivers. The location is Lisle Township, 4711 Indiana Ave, Lisle, IL 60532 from 8:00 a.m. to noon. These clinics, held in Spring and Fall each year, get larger each time it’s held. As always, an operation like this requires volunteers to help with the inspections. Chicagoland MG club members have always been a key element to the success of these events, serving on vehicle inspection teams as well as displaying their vehicles for our seniors. 2019 Halloween Rally Sunday October 27, 2019 The Halloween Rally for 2018 will take place on Sunday October 27th. Starting point will be the Panara Bread at The Arboretum of South Barrington located on the Northeast corner of Rt. 59 (Sutton Rd.) and Rt. 72 (Higgins Rd.) Drivers meeting at 10:00, departure at 10:30. Volunteers needed.
