The club parts locker located at Thompson’s Grand Rental Station in Lombard was the place to be on Saturday to find and take home those important items you have been looking for. Over ten club members perused the part bins and sifted through shelves of stuff looking for that lost treasure.

There were parts for Midgets, and even some “T”-type stuff. There were engine parts and blocks, transmissions, brightwork, axles, suspension stuff, glass and a few MGA body parts.

  Club members were invited to inspect the parts and make a “silent auction” bid on items of interest. The motto of: “no bid is too low” was well
adhered to. After all, we just wanted to see this stuff go to someone who can use it rather than put it in the dumpster.

  It was a great day and many items were ‘saved’ from the dumpster.
