You will have an opportunity to drive on a portion of the original track and park on the straight-away. Trophies will be awarded in many classes at 2:30pm. We are located within the Raceway Woods near the corners of Rt 31 & Huntley Rd in the far Northwest corner of Carpentersville, IL. Show cars enter at Rt 31 Silo entrance to Raceway Woods, 1.5 miles north of Rt 72.

Food, Music and memorabilia will be available.

29th Annual British Car Festival Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (registration closes at 12:30) Harper College, 1200 West Algonquin Road, Palatine, IL With more than 500 beautiful cars, this is one of the largest celebrations of British automotive design and engineering in the United States. In addition to the cars, the festival features a variety of classic car parts vendors, presentations, tech workshops, authentic British food and new car dealers showcasing the latest imports from Great Britain. Admission for the general public is free, with donations encouraged for Shelter, Inc., which is a non-profit dedicated to providing community based, emergency and longer-term housing for abused and neglected children. Participant registration fee is $20 before September 4th, $25 after and day of the festival. Prizes are awarded.  The British Car Festival is organized by the British Car Union, which is a non-profit founded in 1986. It consists of representatives from 20 different Chicagoland British car clubs whose sole purpose is to coordinate the events critical to making the British Car Festival a success each September. Lucas Memorial King of Road Rally

Having checked the position of the stars, phases of the moon and killed a chicken we have
determined the date and time for the Lucas Memorial King of Road Rally

On October 11, 2015 at 11:30 AM in Fox River Grove the members of VMGCCC and CMGC will rally.

The rally will start at the Panera Bread location in Fox River Grove, ½ mile west of the Route 22 and Northwest Highway, The route will travel 2.5 Miles on 2 state roads. and less than a mile on a state hwy. 48.9 Miles of easy country driving with 4 stops with facilities, fourth stop for food and beverages, a great rally for both clubs.
