Almost at our final stop, we drove by our amazing museums, including the Field Museum, Shed Aquarium, Planetarium and last, our beloved Chicago Bear Stadium, Soldiers Field. We are so fortunate to live in such a diverse, multicultural beautiful city!!




Here at last, we pull into the lovely Burnham Harbor Yacht club. One by one, at total of 32 MG’s from both the CMGC and the Vintage club pull onto the grass alongside the harbor where there was a stunning display of enormous yachts and boats. We all gathered under a beautiful Awning where we were served a buffet lunch and cocktails. There was an impressive total of 68 attendees. To top it off, we were given a million dollar view of the harbor, Soldier’s Field and the gorgeous skyline of the South loop.

We concluded our phenomenal day with members of both CMGC & VMGC sharing memorable stories of their experiences with the club. We had a champagne toast and a beautiful cake to commemorate the 40/50 Anniversary of our beloved Vintage and MG clubs.

WHAT A DAY!......WHAT A DRIVE!!!!!
