33nd Annual British Car Festival
Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Harper College, 1200 West Algonquin Road, Palatine, IL
 With more than 500 beautiful cars, this is one of the largest celebrations of British automotive design and engineering in the United States. In addition to the cars, the festival features a variety of classic car parts vendors, presentations, tech workshops, authentic British food and new car dealers showcasing the latest imports from Great Britain. Admission for the general public is free, with donations encouraged for Shelter, Inc., which is a non-profit dedicated to providing community based, emergency and longer-term housing for abused and neglected children. Participant registration fee is $20 before August 22nd $25 after and day of the festival. Prizes are awarded.
The British Car Festival is organized by the British Car Union, which is a non-profit founded in 1986. It consists of representatives from 20 different Chicagoland British car clubs whose sole purpose is to coordinate the events critical to making the British Car Festival a success each September. WINE CHEESE BEER TOUR
September 20-21-22
Ladies and Gentlemen, and Campers of all ages....
This is the first notice of the upcoming World-Famous Wine Cheese Beer Tour for 2019. If you have been paying attention, you will already have Saved the Dates of September 20-21-22. Plans have been developing for this year's run starting in Rockford then through the Kettle Moraine State Forest of Wisconsin to Elkhart Lake, run the old Open Road Course, and end our Saturday in Port Washington. Sunday will conclude at the almost-as-famous Cedarburg Harvest Festival.

For further planning purposes, the rough agenda is:
Sept 20 - Friday = 6:30 PM dinner reservation at JMK Nippon. We will leave the Wyndham by 6:00 PM
Sept 21 - Saturday = 8:30 AM Driver meeting at Wyndham. 9:00 AM (or TBD) departure. If you plan to show up Saturday morning, please plan to be at the Wyndham parking lot no later than 9 am. Lunch is still to be determined. If you can't get with us prior to lunch, let me know so I can keep you advised on where/when that will be. Dinner will be a short drive (15-20 minutes) outside of Port Washington.
