Monthly Meeting Minutes

34 Members in attendance
CMGC President Dean Hickenlooper opened the meeting at 7:00 pm. Dean welcomed guest Paul Polski of Lyons, IL. Paul has a 1974 MGB-GT.
Staff Reports
Finance – Treasurer Phil Wydra noted the club is in good shape with $5,245 in checking and $19,243 in savings. For a total of $24,488.
Library – Bill Mennell – nothing new to report
Regalia – Melissa Perez announced she would not be able to continue with handling the club regalia. Her new employment would limit her times to attend meetings and events going forward.
Driveline Editor – Victor L’Heureux requested that all Driving Event sponsors submit 2 months in advance any info of an upcoming event, so it can be publicized.
Car Projects
Jim Evans experienced electrical issues during the Wine, Cheese, Beer Tour and it was determined to be an alternator wiring issue.
Steve Sparks is working on voltage generator issues, still in progress.

September 9 – British Car Union Festival – 430+ cars, of which 100 were MGs. Over 1200 spectators.
Peoples’ Choice awards were given to:
MGB - Melissa Perez, Bill Slabich, Mike Crowley, Crowley, Jack Thomas
MG Midget - Tim Schafer, Paul Polaski
MGA - Chuck McCallum, Gerard Geraci, Gary Picard

New Business
Dean Hickenlooper noted that club officer nominations will start at the October meeting. To date, Phil Wydra will not be seeking another term as Treasurer. All officer positions are available for new candidates.
Break/ 50:50 raffle– CMGC member – Steve Sparks -- was the winner of $24.
With no further business to discuss, president Dean Hickenlooper closed the meeting at 7:55 pm.
