20 MGs and 7 non-MG cars (52 people total – including 3 singles and Goebbert’s little grandson) made their way north for this year’s Wine Cheese & Beer Tour (WC&B)!
It was quite unbelievable, but somehow Russ and Amy arranged for celebrities to join us for dinner on both Friday and Saturday nights – I know those that could not join us now wished they had! Though Bill and I did not see it first hand, we heard that Braveheart – complete with his blue face – joined members at JMK Nippon on Friday night. I did hear that he cut QUITE a dashing figure in his kilt! On Saturday, though I couldn’t see him very well, it was either Father Elvis or Father Guido Sarducci who entered the room to raucous applause then proceeded to offer the MG Blessing! It was quite the exciting evening, and it added that special “Je ne sais quoi”! There is never a dull moment when you are traveling with MG friends!
