Monthly Column of Driving Events
By the time this edition of the Driveline slides into your mail box, or is posted on the club website the 2011 Driving Season has ended, but it isn't really over yet either. That sounds more complicated than it is.
On November 6 we'll have the Fall Tune Down and Chili Party to put our cars in storage and call the season ended. Only, if you join us for the Cruise to the Rock, the traditional informal anniversary celebration of the first automobile race in America on Thanksgiving morning, the season isn't over yet. You'll find the details in this newsletter.

I hope that the Driveline is in time for you to think about helping us change the oil in the cars of the homeless clients of PADS in Arlington Heights. You may read the information in the announcement in this newsletter. And if you decide to help us one or a couple of hours on November 19, please give me a call or email me directly at 847 342 9804 or reinoutvogt@gmail.com. Also note that Dave, the owner of the establishment that hosts the afternoon has a MGBGT for sale. The car has been behind the shop for quite a while but it has an overdrive which probably makes it a desirable object. Please contact Dave or stop by on the 19th if you're interested.
I hope to see you all at the Dave's or at Cruise.
